Before working at OE, Chemika worked in the donation industry. She taught, trained, and managed staff that recovered human eye tissue for transplantation and research. Chemika stayed in that industry for a very long time and was involved in every aspect of the process over the years. Three words she would use to describe herself are resilient, resourceful & dedicated!
Here are three things people don’t know about Chemika: she’s a daredevil and once jumped off a cliff into the ocean, Ledisi is her favorite artist and if she could be a fictional character, she would be a mermaid.
If Chemika could interview anyone (dead or alive) it would be Harriet Tubman. She states no person in recent history has risked more for her people than Harriet. Recreating that formula for determination in the present would be awesome! Chemika’s favorite snacks are sour punch bites. She buys them in bulk!
